Barnes, Mr Lord, Mrs. Litchfield, Mrs. Severance Mr. Broderick, Mr. Gaughan, and Chief Marshal Graustein, VISITOR Mr. Crosby PATRIOTS DAY The Senior Holy Name Band has accepted at the $100.00 fee. Adm. and Mrs. Sieglaff and Aide It. Smits has accepted. Rear Adm. J. A. Alger, Jr. has accepted. Mr• Alger cannot be with us. Gen. McGonagle wrote he would be retired by April 19th and sent his regrets. However, the committee will send a note to him expressing our desire to have him and Mrs. McGonagle as our guests anyway. J. N. 0, Curie, British Consul General, has accepted. Mrs. Litchfield will write him asking if he would like Major Vass as his Aide. A letter from Mr. Sperduto stated he had sent out the Float Applications to all but the Demolay and the Young Republican Club. The applications are to be returned by March 17th. Mr. Graustein had a letter from Jason M. Cortell suggesting as a Division Marshal a Crd. MacGarvey.l. Mr. Graustein will take care of this. Mrs. Litchfield will invite Rabbi Bernet to give the invocation on the 19th, and Rev. Myles McKey to give the benediction. Mr. Gaughan will find out the size of the reviewing stand, to see that it will properly fit on the Massachusetts Avenue side of the Green. Mr. Broderick said he was waiting for confirmation of the Old Belfry Club .iur the reucpulou after—theparade, AndheexpeectS ward soon. Mr. Barnes asked the ladies on this committee to look into the matter of favors for the ladies at our Patriots Day luncheon. Notepaper with historic prints was suggested. Mr. Barnes will be Chief Marshal of the Sunrise Parade. Mr. Broderick will be the 1st Division Marshal, and Mr. Lord will be the 2nd Division Marshal. The Folien Church parking lot may be used to line up the Clergy, Selectmen, T.C.C. members, and the High School Band, to allieviate congestion across the street, prior to the Sunrise parade. 244 Mr. Lord suggested using a bull horn for both parades, and he offered the use of his. Mr. Gaughan will look into finding two more plus two speakers from the Base. The annual Lexington/Concord Baseball Game will be played at 10 a.m. on April 19th at the Parker Field.
