CORRESPONDENCE Mrs. Litchfield has heard from the following bands that they accept our invitation to march on April 19th Maynard High School Band Fitchburg High School Band Athol High School Band The Woburn High School Band was dissatisfied with its placement in last year's parade (in the last division in front of the fire engines), and wants to be in the third division this year. The Historic Districts Commission has requested the Selectmen's Office for their scheduled meeting on February 3rd. We will find another location for our meeting that night. The phone calls made by the female members of this committee to the various groups in town, inviting these groups to meet with this - committee, should be followed by a postal card reminder prior to the meeting date scheduled. Mr. Damery of Bedford suggested our procuring the. Marine Drum & Bugle Corps in Washington, D. C. for our parade Mrs. Litchfield will bring to our next meeting a list of all bands to be invited to participate, and from this, we will decide whether or not we need another band. If we do, Mrs Litchfield or Mr. Graustein will contact Col. Robert D. Carney, Jr. in Washington, D. C. Next week, all Lexington Youth groups will meet with this committee Respectfully submitted, Marilyn Hall Recording Secretary 234 i
