Sunday was considered the best day of the week for this
ceremony.
Mrs. Litchfield will telegraph Congressman Bradford Morse on
October 29th to set a date She will ask him if Sunday,
November 21st is agreeable. The second choice would be on

SPECIAL NOTE TO THE BOARD OF SELECTMEN Mr. Raymond Lewis,
of the American Legion, suggested that the Town's Veterans
organizations would probably be only too happy, and consider
it a privilege to take care of the flag, in order to relieve
the burden from the Fire Department He suggested that
perhaps one man could take "flag duty" for a week at a time,
on a voluntary basis.
A probable program for the ceremonies on the Green fellows
