We're delighted to have her with us OCTOBER 24th — UNITED NATIQNS DAY Mr. Barnes has asked Mr. DiGiammarino to procure a small public address system, possibly from Hanley's Sound Equipment Company. It is felt the bull horn would prove unsatisfactory. Father Perry from the Sacred Heart Parish will officiate for the clergy at the Green exercises. Mrs. J. Alan Cooper from the League of Women Voters, and appointed representatives from the Rotary Club and the Elks will be a part of the exercises on United Nations Day Mr. Barnes invited all committee members to attend the Harrington School program on Friday, October 23rd at 9 30 A.M. NOVEMBER 11th — VETERANS DAY Mr. Healy read the parade roster to this committee. Mr. Barnes asked Mr. Healy to bring to our next meeting a diagram of the arrangement of the various units and personnel on the Green for exercises there. He will procure this diagram from Mr. Fitzgerald, who will be parade marshal for Veterans Day. The parade will assemble at the Munroe School at 9.45 a.m. and nil:proceed marching at-10:00 a.m. from the school to the Green. Mr. Barnes contacted Mrs Morey, who will arrange to have the Buckman Tavern open from about 9 30 a.m. on November 11th, so that General O'Neill's wife and wives of TCC members may assemble there before walking to the Green. 1, 34 Mrs. Hall was asked to contact the Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts, and Campfire Girls about the possibility of their marching in the parade. ,She was to ,report to Mr. Healy by October 29th.
