Howard, Gilman and Barnes Absent were : Mrs Fernberger, Messrs Gaughan, Pop- lawski and DiGiamarino At 9:00 p.m members of the 250th Anniversary Committee came Mrs Fox was asked to notify Mrs Johnson at LADY Hayden of our new policy regarding the portraits, and LEXINGTON that it should be left up to the Prom-Manaders to PORTRAITS decide on their disposal Mrs Fox should give Miss Ricci hers when the plaque is ready from Malcolm Stevens. Mrs Litchfield read us a thank-you letter from BILLS Ray Lewis . and went over our remaining bills, before she had to leave Kingston Howard, who has agreed to serve on the CHAIRMAN Committee for a 4th year, was unanimously elected OF THE Chairman for the year 1962-'63 Ray Barnes was un- COMMITTEE animously elected vice-Chairman. A discussion was held on the part to be played THANKS- by choirs in the Service Mrs Litchfield was asked GIVING to write a general letter to the clergy asking if they are interested in having their choirs participate Mr Gilman felt they would be happier to do separate num- bers rather than attempt a combined choir. Mr Parks reported that Haskell Rend, represent- 250TH ing the Lions Club, wants to put on a band concert They will try to get the USMC Band from Washington, and they could. be included in the April. 19 parade as the Staff Band The Lions Club will handle details. 468 Mr Parks then presented the Celebrations Com- I mittee with an estimated budget for the celebration of the 250th Anniversary Copies have been distributed to all members of both committees Patricia Fox for Mrs Fernberger
