The Com- mittee, or whoever is planning to attend, will meet in front of the Town Hall , April 18 at 7 :00 p.m. to join the Minute Men and proceed to Old North Church for the Patriots ' Day Eve celebration of the re-enactment of the lighting of the Old North Steeple. Signs were distributed as well as tickets for admission to the reviewing stand. Time Schedule : 6 :90 a.m. - Loud speaker set up on Common 7:00 a m. - Meet in E Lexington for morning parade 10 :30 a.m. - Various signs set up )Poplawski ) 10 :30 a.m. - Luncheon tables, favors, cards andtags set up. ready to meet guests by 11 :30 11 :30 a.m. - Greet guests Distribute reviewing stand tickets and seating chart . Tag cars. 12 :00 a.m. - Luncheon Line up cars 1 00 p.m - Usher guests into cars and leave for parade, set up chairs on stand 2 :00 p m. - Microphone announcements (Douglass) at Common. Parade starts from E. Lexington 4:00 p m. - 6 :00 p.m. - Reception at Belfry Club Guests not riding in the parade will be taken to the Masonic Temple for the display of Pail RPVPvP silver, then will proceed to Buckman Tavern until 2 :45 p.m. , at which time they will proceed to the reviewing stand Movies : Mitre Corp and the Air Force will take sound movies of the afternoon parade from in front of the Masonic Lodge. Governor Volpe : Will receive Revere and Dawes at the Minute Man statue at 1 :00 and will be photographed by WBZ-TV. At 9 :30 p.m. WBZ radio (April 18) will inter- view the Historical Guides and the "Spirit of '76" 1 458 Putnam Phalanx: This group, from Hartford, Conn , will participate with the 6th Mass Continentals in the fir- in on the green The Centennial Legion (3d Division) will make a human cordon around the green. Marine Corps League : The League has requested $75 hosting, which was granted Bands: Mattatuck Band will be unable to come The Boston Fire Department Band is asking $50 more It is recommended that we take this band back under our jurisdiction next year, and that all bands be invited by this committee. Fiske Hill : These ceremonies, Sunday afternoon, April 15, were well run and organized. Publicity: It was suggested that through the Chamber of Commerce we have displays in the stores by the local children next year. Adm Espe Retirement : A motion to contribute $10. to the Admiral ' s retirement dinner sponsored by the Navy League was defeated as not an appropriate expenditure for this committee to make of town funds Linda Fernberzer, Recording Secretary
