Cobb, Gilman, Howard, Poplawski and Gaughan. Dr. McDonald of Concord was also present Drums: Mr Maxner reported that nothing can be done APRIL 19 about snare drums from the manufacturer this year; however, he may be able to borrow some from the St. Catherine ' s Fife and Drum Corps and will let us know. Mr Tropeano called volunteering his son as a drummer for the "Spirit of '76" . We cannot use him this year, since all arrangements have been made, however, we make note of his name here for possible use next year Girl Scouts : Copies of the roster (350) will be de- livered to the office on Muzzey St as soon as they are ready. Marching Units : The Coast Guard will have a marching unit from the Cutter, Castle Rock, but cannot send a piece of equipment. Northeastern will send a band and marching unit of Pershing rifles Revere High School was sent 300 Bills of Rights. General Terhune and Aide will come from Hanscom Field, Old Guard Fife and Drum Corps : A letter from Brad Morse has informed us that use of this unit will cost $1750. for 35 men for 3 days Obviously we ,Lil *e unaoie to avail ourselves of the opportunity. St Anthony's : The director has stated that he wants to bring the junior and senior groups for $125. in- stead of $50 and transportation. Ray Lewis will check into this. File : Ray Lewis has reported the availability of a file for $60. Bunting: Mr. Poplawski has been in contact with the bunting company who will decorate the following build- ings, as wellas doing the usual rounds to the com- mercial establishments: 446 Cary Hall, Lexington Police Station, Town Hall, E. Lexington Branch Library, Cary Memorial Library r Publicity: Mr. Whipple (Globe) will do the cover Roto- gravure of Lady Lexington, but needs 6 weeks which means that this wil come out after April 19. Mrs Fox will try to arrange something sooner The exhibit for Foster's window will be historic models done by the 5th Grade at Fiske School Floats: Definite Invited but indefinite Model of the Constitution Baptist Youth Fellowship Latter Day Saints Hayden Girl Scouts Junior Chamber of Commerce BPOE Lions Club Chamber of Commerce Countryside Association Fleepo the Clown Temple Isaiah Lexington Democratic Club 4-H Club League of Women Voters Young Republicans Rotary Neighborhood Associations, including Sun Valley, Follen Hill, Peacock Farms, Ester- brook Neighborhood , Moon Hill, Five Fields Temple Emunah Pilgrim Congregatinna.l Church will be sent a form. Dr Hunt will take care of arrangements for the Antique cars An invitation will be sent to the Salvation Army Band and the Trinity College Pipes and Drums Concord : Dr McDonald gave out copies of the addresses given at the Battleground in Concord last year and a schedule of (preliminary) this year's plans for Con- cord In explaining Concord ' s program, which is im- pressive in its historic significance and simplicity, we also discussed with Dr. McDonald the sharing of a new tradition between the towns. , that of exchanging flags for our main flagpoles.
