It was felt (and this had been sug- gested by the Selectmen) that the LeRoy S. Brown fund be put to use to cover this, and the balance of the fund be used in 1963 when we celebrate the 250th an- niversary of the incorporation of Lexington. A motion was made by Mrs. Litchfieldto have the Chairman ask Mr Lincoln Cole for $400, which would cover our debt and provide for U.N. Day and Thanksgiving expenses. Mr. Cronin suggested that when we make up our budget this year, we let the organizations concerned know exactly how much money is available to them for the entertainment of guests on April 19. 402 THANKS- Mrs Litchfield said that she had written to the GIVING Lexington Choral Society asking them to participate in our Thanksgiving Celebration She read their reply from David Sykes, President, that they would be most happy to accept.
