The twenty-seventh meeting* of the 1959- '60
Town Celebrations Committee was Pel_ in tae Selectmen ' s
Room of the Town Office Building at 8 :00 p m Present
were Mrs Pullen, Mrs Litchfield, Mr, Williams, and
Aessrs Cole, Cobb, Cronin, Howard, Douslass, and
Bongiorno
Bills : rills were approved and Eleanor Litchfield was APRIL 19
authorized to make voucher' for bills to present to
the Town Accountant VOTMD That the Chairman be
given authority to approve on,y reasonable bills
Certificate of Commendation The Concord Celebrations
Committee had sent certificates of commendation to 'r. ',
Litchfield and Mr Cole in recognition of their co-
operation with the Concord Committee
Celebrntions Committee Booklets : ni@ht schools have
requested for their permanent libraries enoumh copies
of hire booklets for use in connecti n wit'' tudies of
the history of Lexington
Booklets will be sent to the 21 .T.,eyinntons in the U S .

MISCBL- The Lexington Guides have invited the Committee to tour
LAcEOUS Lexington and Concord Minute Man National Park on June
5 at 2 00 p m (Mrs Litchfield will be in contact with
the Guides for making arrangements )
The next meeting will be on May 19, 196n
