TOWN CELEBRATIONS COMMITTEE
November 14, 1957
The 13th meeting of the Town Celebrations
Committee was held in the Conference Room, Cary
Memorial Hall at 8 15 p.m , Nov 14, 1957 Present
were Messrs Gustin, and Cole, Mesdames Pullen,
Litchfield and Cheever Also present was Mr Herbert
Bandes, representing the Jewish Community Center
Mr Cole reported that Mrs John P Whelan of
St. Brigid's Church will be the organist. THANKSGIVING
It was decided to have the Hancock Press print
the program Work on the program was completed, and
Mr Cole will take it to Hancock Press Copy of pro-
gram will be sent to all clergy as soon as printed
Mrs Litchfield was asked to contact Mrs .
Tucker of the Lexington Field & Garden Club to see if
they would assume responsibility of suitable decorations
for platform
I Mrs Pullen brought in the words and music of
song, "Lexington Green" Committee has asked Mrs
Cheever to write to publisher for permission to repro-
dude It was thought it might possibly be used in con-
nection with the April 19th celebration
Mr Gustin told the committee the budget for
1958 must be in by Dec 15, 1957 Next meeting will be
at 4 30 p.m , Nov. 21, 1957 in the Conference Room, Cary
Memorial Fall Mr Gillespie has been asked to be
present, at which time work will be done on budget for
high school bands
