ported an idea submitted by Mrs Pfaff that local resi-
dents who have worked abroad in constructive U.N and
related projects be invited to speak to local adult
groups to further understanding of the many positive
accomplishments in international friendship and aid.
Although it was felt it is too late this year to arrange
such, it was agreed this is an important and appealing
method to reach and interest adult audiences The com-
mittee members agreed to work on this idea during the
year, possibly to set up a sort of local speakers '
bureau and suggest that local organizations might like
to call upon these speakers for U N. Day meetings in
their groups next fall
In conclusion it was agreed that the minutes
of these meetings be sent to members of the committee
