TOWN CELEBRATIONS COMMITTEE
November 8, 1956
The sixth meeting of the Town Celebrations
Committee was held in the conference room, Cary
Memorial Hall at 8 00 p.m , November 8, 1956 The
following members were present Messrs Alberti e,
Hutchins, Gustin, Rooney, Gagne, Lewis, and Mrs
Litchfield
Secretary' s report was read and approved
The following bills were approved for pay-
ment
Lexington Secretarial Service $5 00
Somerville Machine & Foundry 16 00
Lexington Nurseries ( dogwood) 10 00
Mr Paul Poehler was appointed chairman of
U N Day, 1957
A letter from Mr Delcevare King of Quincy,
Mass was read Mr King enclosed $1 00 and re-
quested ten "Bill of Rights" bills It was voted
to return the money, and send him the ten bills
Mr Lewis suggested that the committee notify
all units after the first of the year that there will
be no parade due to April 19th falling on Good Friday
Mr Gustin is to obtain actual expenditures of
1956 Town Celebrations Committee from the town
accountant prior to next meeting
