get suggestions for a theme and report at the next
meeting namely, Mr Poehler, Mr Sawyer, and Mrs
Dodge After a short explanation and discussion about
the children' s color guard, Mr. Poehler said he would
talk with Mr Smith and his elementary principals .
Hr hooney presented the chairman with a copy
of last year' s budget and two forms for us to submit BUDGET
budgets for 1956 and 1957 It was the feeling of
those present that a few members concentrating on
that matter would be better than taking up time for
all to work on it at the present time So Mr Lewis
arranged for a meeting with Mrs Cheever, Mrs Williams,
and Mr Foster on the evening of November 10 at Mr.
Foster' s office.
We decided to ask Bert Gustin to be our publi-
city chairman for April 19 The secretary was asked PUBLICITY
to write a letter to Mr Adams in appreciation of his
fine editorial in the Minute-man on the formation of
this committee
