Absent: Duke Bitsko, Bebe Fallick, Angela Frick. Others present: Marilyn Nordby and Linda Gaudet. Chairman Miller called the meeting to order at 7:50 p.m. in Room G-15, Town Office Building. 6 Lake Street Planting Plan - 201-466 Bill Herring, owner/applicant, presented the proposed landscaping plan for this project as required in the Order of Conditions. Since the landscaping will be within the 25-foot buffer zone, the Commission decided that they need to review the plan at the site before giving their approval. A site visit was set for November 11 at 11 a.m. Walking Paths in Meaaherville - Mr. Herring said that he would like to build a connector between two paths in the Meagherville conservation land. The Commission suggested that he contact Nell Walker, Kay Tiffany or Alan Levine who are stewards of the area and have worked on the trail plans. Site Visits: Start at Lexington Christian Academy— 10 a.m., then 334 Waltham Street; and 6 Lake Street. Town Warrant Articles for the Town Warrant to date are: By-Law Changes—One technical and one major. Land Transfer Land Acquisition Minutes - It was moved, seconded and voted to approve the minutes of October 3, 2000, as amended. It was moved, seconded and voted to approve the minutes of October 17 2000, as amended. Certificates of Compliance It was moved, seconded and voted to issue the Certificates of Compliance for 66 Solomon Pierce Road, Pheasant Brook I, Lot 1 (201-211) 80 Westview Street (BL-361) Order of Conditions - 6 Brookwood Road (201-4791 It was moved, seconded and voted to approve the Order of Conditions for 6 Brookwood Road as amended. MINUTES LEXINGTON CONSERVATION COMMISSION OCTOBER 31,2000 PAGE 2 Commissioners Baci, Hamilton, Miller and Wolk voted to go into Executive Session for the purpose of approving minutes. The meeting resumed in open session. Cont'd Hearing. Winning Farm (201-441-4451 Mrs. Miller read a letter from Winning Farm Trust requesting that the hearing be continued to November 14, 2000 It was moved, seconded and voted to continue the hearing to November 14, 2000 High School Proiect—201-438 Ms.Nordby reported that the deadline date of October 31 for the installation of the 11-inch orifice at the detention basin will not be met due to the inclement weather of the past few days. The Project Manager is hopeful that it will be installed by November 8. Ms. Baci, who works at the High School, expressed concern that an open pipe in the area where the work for the detention basin was taking place was not protected from erosion. Ms.Nordby will check on this situation. Meeting dates were approved as submitted beginning on January 2, 2000. Photo session for Town Renort - The photo will be taken next Sunday,November 5, at 2 p.m. at the Lexington High School parking area.
