Neighborhood Representatives Harry Derbyshire,Briarwood; Jerome Weinstein, Sun Valley; Justin Margolakea, Oak Knoll; Mary-Lou Touart, Walter Pierce, Peacock Farms. Robert Cataldo opened the meeting with a statement of purpose of the Route 3 Advisory Committee 1. Make recommendations to the Selectmen. 2. Keep neighborhood delegates informed. The Chairman again outlined the meeting of January 27, 1964 of our Selectmen and the Chairman of the Planning Board with the new officials of the Department of Public Works. (See minutes of January 29, 1964) . Jack Mitchell (Peach Tree Road) made the request that the Selectmen write to the Department of Public Works to establish the following 1. The Town prefers that Routes 128 and 2 shall be used rather than extending Route 3 beyond its present terminus. 2. The Selectmen have no stand on, any other route at this time. 3. New studies by the Department of Public Works shall consider extending Route 3 from 128 and not only consider an extension from the end of the 2 mile stretch already owned by the State in Lexington and Woburn. A meeting will be held two weeks after the adjournment of Town Meeting in order to compile information relating to assessments and other facts on Route 3. Natalie Riffin
