Introductions and Announcements
HATS Chair Ng called meeting to order at 7:30pm
Masschusetts Port Authority — CEO, Thomas P. Glynn, PhD.
• CEO intro remarks
• Progress since last year.
o Implementation of the Strategic plan approved 2014
o Integration of MA State Police Troop F at Logan International Airport
o Terminal `E' — developing plans to develop a space to accommodate 4x
additional passengers than originally designed.
o Continued support for the Massport Community Advisory Council — 40
members from 35 towns
o Worcester Airport — handling over 300K passengers to Orlando / Ft
Lauderdale
o Maritime:
■ RFP for 30 acres purposed for maritime industry
o East Boston
■ Residential projects on First Street
• Hanscom Air Field
o GE access/use at Hanscom Field (North Ramp?)
Air Force Base, Massport Community Advisory Committee, Hanscom Advisory
Commission Updates:
• June 2nd HAFB Middle School Ribbon Cutting Ceremony
• July 26th: HAFB — 66th Air Base Group Change of Command ceremony —
welcome Colonel Hund
