Term Length: Until regular position filled
Description: The Board of Selectmen is responsible for hiring the
Town Manager The Board will hire an interim manager
to lead the Town through the 2005 Town Meeting and
remain in place until a regular manager is appointed.
This committee will identify and interview candidates
and bring finalists to the Board.
Criteria for
Membership: Two members of the Board of Selectmen, two former
town wide elected official, a member of the TMMA
Executive Committee, a representative of the Personnel
Advisory Board, a representative of the Appropriations
Committee and a representative of the Capital
Expenditures Committee
Ref: The Board of Selectmen adopted this charge on August
12, 2004
