Description: The Selectmen's Energy Conservation Committee is charged with advising the
Selectmen as to the feasibility of financing certain projects as roughly prioritized by the
Committee that would enhance energy conservation throughout the Town's physical plant. The
Committee shall consider the feasibility of developing energy conservation standards and
suggestions for any future Town investment and make any recommendations for implementation
that they see have a reasonable payback. The Committee shall make recommendations for
implementing organizational changes to provide ongoing monitoring and management of energy
costs and complement any work currently being undertaken by the Electric Utility Ad Hoc
Committee and the Permanent Building Committee.
