January 29, 2001 Term Length. Until report is accepted Description. The Community Preservation Act presents many opportunities and challenges for Lexington. It is not clear what the long-term impacts of this act will be on the Town's financial status. Some analysis of the tradeoff needs to be made between the benefits of the act's vision and the long- term fiscal implications of its acceptance. The committee should use the Blue Ribbon Committee report and the Lexington 2020 Vision Report as reference for future financial impact while examining the long-term acquisition plans of the Conservation Commission and Lexhab. Membership: School Committee—Michelle Hutnik; Board of Selectmen—Peter Enrich; Conservation—Joyce Miller, Planning—Steve Coleman; Citizen—Dan Fenn; Citizen—David Rudner, Citizen/realtor—Ron Colwell, Lexhab- Marshall Derby; Historical Commission and/or Historical Society— Marilyn Fenollosa Reference: Adopted by Board of Selectmen, January 29, 2001 G\A02-Boards&Committees Info\charges\Community Preservation Act advisory charge
