Discussion of Memo from Wally Tonaszuck (W T )
Re Revenue vs Cost Analysis of Parking Programs
Cost Ongoing parking improvements $175K for 5 year period
for resurfacing or
$35K/year including
1 School Administration Lot
2 Meriam Street Lot
3 Edison Way Lot
4 Waltham Street Lot (MEWS)
5 Library
VOTE Voted to accept memo of W T and recommend to Selectmen to change
School Administration annual fee from $120 00/year to $156 00
Discussion on increasing rates or setting a minimum (i e 50 or
750) (Wally to investigate numbers and report back)
Problem defined by Wally in reference to the Leader Federal Employees
with permit, who arrive on Friday by 11 00 a m. , cannot get keys at
night (Problem should be solved with new hours (8 00 p m.)
Discussion of staffing for Final CRC Report Meeting with Marge
Battin/Bob Hutchinson/Jacquie Smith/Bob Bowyer indicated it would
be necessary to hire a consultant to complete the report in a
timely manner
VOTE Moved and voted that CRC recommend to Selectmen to include funds for
a consultant to compile and collate the technical analyses so that
the CRC can formalize policy recommendations
Decided to postpone discussion of Land Use policy to January
meeting
January meeting set for 1/17/85 Meeting adjourned at 1 25 p m.
