Claire Feingold Thoryn; Alan Wrigley; Dana Bickelman, Director of Human Services; Sharon Gunda, Clinical and Community Outreach Manager, David Williams, Trustee of the Public Trusts Mr. Lucente stated the remote participation meeting is being held remotely as posted with the agenda. 1) Money Available State Street Account as of December 31, 2023 Ending Principal balance: $297,597.56 Ending Income balance: $23.079.41 Total Balance as of 12/31/02023 $320,676.97 2023 Fund for Lexington Annual Appeal Donations Approximately $23,000 received to date, of which $5,000 was received via online donation 2) Human Services Welcome Dana Bickelman, Director of Human Services Mr. Lucente welcomed Dana Bickelman, the new Director of Human Services. Human Services Report for the period of Ms. Bickelman reported the following activity for the Human Services funds dispersed for the period:  Fund for Lexington o $993.22 out of the Heating Assistance Program for one family (Remaining balance - $24,006.78)  Human Services Emergency Fund (non-COVID related) $4,982.35 for rent assistance  Human Services Gift Fund (non-COVID related) $3,040.33 rent, washer/dryer, utility bills for 3 families  Gift Cards - Wegman’s Gift Card Program 317 disbursed  Covid-19 Financial Assistance (Takeda and FFL Contributions) o Disbursed $2,223.78 for COVID-19 related assistance, J. Malloy approved transferring $25,000 from Takeda Balance for post-COVID needs funding.  Remaining Takeda Balance: $8,938.04  FFL Balance: $25,000 Ms. Gunda reported Human Services Department signed a partnership the Mass Coalition for the Homeless. Ms. Gunda explained the program assists those experiencing homelessness or those at risk of homelessness. 3) Approval of September 11, 2023 Meeting Minutes On a motion duly made and seconded, by roll call, the Fund for Lexington Board voted 5-0, 1 abstention(Mr. Pato) to approve the September 11, 2023 Meeting Minutes. 4) Proposed Meeting dates The Board set March 25, 2024, June 10, 2024 and September 9, 2024 as the upcoming Fund for Lexington Board meeting dates.
