The minutes of March 29 were approved. The next meeting will be on April 12, 2017 in the Parker Room, Town Office Building. Patriots Day, Monday, April 17, 2017 Geetha presented the completed 90-second promotional video for Patriots Weekend and the committee brainstormed ways to circulate this. Geetha will put it on Google Share for easy access. Tickets – Reenactment: Cerise is saving a few remaining seats in the reviewing stand for town dignitaries and has a good supply of bleacher seats at this time. Tickets – Afternoon parade: Cerise has plenty of tickets for the reviewing stand for the afternoon parade. Linda offered to contact Jay Skerry, aide to the Grand Marshal, and offer a block of tickets to the marchers who plan to accompany the Grand Marshal. Parade Vehicle Tags: Cerise and volunteers will accompany a police officer when inspecting parade vehicles and affix a TCC tag to each vehicle. Any vehicle without a TCC tag after the parade starts will be removed from the parade. We are having trouble clarifying that the Library parking lot is for TCC exclusive use. The Girl Scout/Insurance issue is still unresolved. Since it is the Scout’s responsibility to fund the extra vehicle insurance, the Scouts will probably keep the float on the truck and march alongside. The Spirit of ‘76 participants have been recruited. Paul will obtain radios next week. Kim will produce a final plan for golf cart team assignments and job descriptions. Linda reported that 42 Parade Ambassadors have volunteered to date. The Children's Center has switched participation to morning parade vs. afternoon parade. The meeting was adjourned at 8:15 p.m., after which the committee worked on the parade lineup. Respectfully submitted, Linda Dixon, Co-Secretary Future Meetings April 12; April 26; May 3; May 10; May 17; May 24; June 7.
