16 Hancock Street:
Dick Perry, general discussion of changes in the Hancock Clarke District. Interior
renovation, and possible exterior renovations were discussed.
1155 Massachusetts Avenue:
Gopala Shenoy, exterior architectural changes in the East Village District.
Proposed roofline changes were discussed with the Commission.
1024 Massachusetts Avenue:
Robert Cataldo, representing Reed Institute, exterior architectural changes
in the East Village District. Exterior renovation and restorations were discussed.
ACTION ITEMS:
Concrete ramps in the Center:
The Commission noted that recently in the center various ramps have
been replaced, without approval of the Commission. A request was made to note for the record ‘The new
ramps in the Center do not have a Certificate of Appropriateness, and requires a Certificate for the work
that was done.’
‘Illustrating the Guidelines’; adding photographs:
Chair Eccles will be assigning aspects of the
guidelines to the commissioners, where Photographic examples can be added to the guidelines. The
project will be discussed in upcoming meetings.
