Announcements (and updates) • Modular classrooms are in progress- separate egress out back. Doors moved. • Anticipated date is May. • Shut off water in February and then turn it back on after testing. • Modular will have sinks, two individual bathrooms to share. • Enrollment update - Enrollment is stable. Anticipate 27 classrooms for next year • Central registration -Will be at the lower level of central office. • Anticipated start date is February 1st for K -5 new registration II. Public Comment (on topics not on the agenda) III. Discussion of Neighborhood Events • Information about the community meeting with Chief Corr • Important message to know your neighbors • Conversation with teachers around this event • Goal of providing safe spaces for students to share • See something /say something say something to a trusted adult IV. Updates on other school -based initiatives • Dismantling Racism curriculum • Literacy Professional Learning around Comprehension and Perspective Taking • Up coming pilots around early identification of reading difficulties
