Minutes for September 13, 2016

Because of the sparse attendance the meeting was a bit brief. The meeting opened at
7:35pm and the minutes from the July 27 meeting were disbursed, read and accepted.
David Williams than informed us of the recent incident at the area near Lincoln Park
where a man was arrested for exposing himself in public.
David also informed us that the recently placed sign honoring Nell Walker seemed to
have been removed and we were not sure how or why.
We also discussed the need for more pamphlets which I, Brian Kelley, informed the
group that I had and would bring to our next meeting, I hope I remembered.
There also seems to be a group posting invasive species flyers and tagging such
species on the bike path as entered from Middleby Road. Nobody has a problem with
this and in fact it is encouraged, but we were puzzled as to who sponsored this project.
We expect Wes Wirth to offer a revised plan for the Granite Forest at our next meeting,
perhaps involving a bit of a "bowl" effect. The test pits performed by Wes went well and
no bad material was unearthed.
The next meeting was tentatively scheduled for September 27, 2016
