HomeMy WebLinkAboutPlanning Board Minutes, 1994-03-28 PLANNING BOARD MINUTES MEETING OF MARCH 28, 1994 The meeting of the Lexington Planning Board held in Room G-15 , Town Office Building, I? was called to order at 7 07 p.m by Chairman Domnitz, with members Canale, Davison, Grant, Merrill, Planning Director Bowyer, and Assistant Planner Marino present ***************** ADMINISTRATION OF LAND DEVELOPMENT REGULATIONS ************ RECOMMENDATIONS ON APPLICATIONS TO THE BOARD OF APPEALS 58 Applications To Be Heard on March 31, 1994 Mrs. Davison gave an oral review of the following applications 191 Spring Street, 191 Spring Street Trust, extend, renew and reissue to 10/25/95 a special permit with site plan review for development of two buildings. The Planning Board noted with approval Boston Properties' continu- ing sponsorship of and active involvement in the South Lexington Transporta- tion Task Force The Board agreed to make no comment on the following application also scheduled to be heard on March 31, 1994 191 Spring Street 191 Spring Street Trust, extend, renew and reissue to 10/25/95 a special permit to permit a driveway on Lot 2 to lead to parking on Lot 1 *********************** ARTICLES FOR 1994 TOWN MEETING *********************** 59 Planning Board Positions on Warrant Articles Article 22, Land Exchange/Lowell and North Street: On the motion of Mrs Davison, seconded by Mr Canale, the Planning Board voted unanimously to endorse this article. Article 28 Woodland Road/Land Transfer to LexHAB The Board agreed to take no position on this article but will make a comment at Town Meeting. Article 29 Pooper Scooper On the motion of Mr Canale, seconded by Mrs. Davison, the Board voted unanimously to endorse this article ****************************************************************************** 60. Recognition of David G Williams' Service to the Town Mr Domnitz, speaking [h` for the Board, thanked Mr. Williams for his seven years and three months of service on the Board, two of those as chairman, and presented him with a gift, a cartoon drawn by Ed Colley of the Lexington Minuteman ******************* PLANNING BOARD PROJECTS, POLICY MAKING ******************* 61 . Volume 1 Population: Mr Bowyer distributed an updated draft of the report L Minutes for the Meeting of March 28, 1994 2 ********************************** REPORTS ********************************** 62 Planning Board, Subcommittees a. Met State Task Force Mrs Davison said that she hopes the Board will get more involved in the Met State Hospital land reuse deliberative process b Cambridge Watershed Advisory Committee Mr. Canale reported that this group meets on the third or fourth Tuesday of the month. They will vote on the final notification plan at the next meeting If a community's representative cannot attend a meeting they ask that a substitute be sent.
