MEETING OF MARCH 21, 1994
The meeting of the Lexington Planning Board held in Room G-15, Town Office Building,
was called to order at 7 08 p m by Chairman Domnitz, with members Davison, Merrill,
Planning Director Bowyer, and Assistant Planner Marino present Mr Canale and Mr.
Grant arrived during Item 54

SUBDIVISION OF LAND
55 Dana Court. Decision on Definitive Plan Direction to Staff The Board agreed
to grant the waivers requested by the developer They also agreed to include a
condition in the special permit that the developer must maintain the split rail
fence to be installed in place of the chain link fence and also reconstruct the
wrought iron fence in front of 669 Massachusetts Avenue.
Mr Grant argued for the name Dana Court for the subdivision street He believes it
fits the history of the district Mr Bowyer suggested that a first name be added
to avoid the sound-alike names that concern the fire and police departments. Ellen
Dana Court was suggested
The Board agreed to approve the subdivision with the waivers requested
RECOMMENDATIONS ON APPLICATIONS TO THE BOARD OF APPEALS
56 Applications To Be Heard on March 31. 1994 Mr. Canale gave an oral review of
the following applications
399 Lowell Street, Lexington House of Pizza, renewal of a special permit to
operate a fast food/take out food service The Board agreed to recommend that
approval of this special permit renewal for a five-year period
The Board agreed to make no comment on the following applications, also scheduled to
he heard on March 31, 1994
201 Massachusetts Avenue Movies 'n More, renewal of special permit for
illuminated sign
6 Wadman Circle, Gary Larson, special permit to demolish and replace a garage

57. Article 12, Street Acceptance and Construction The Board signed their report
to Town Meeting recommending approval of this article
The meeting was adjourned at 7 57 p m.
