MINUTES OF APRIL 1, 1991
The meeting of the Lexington Planning Board held in Room G-15, Town Office
Building, was called to order at 7 03 p.m. by the Chairman, Mrs. Wood, with
members, Davison, Domnitz, Grant, Williams, Planning Director Bowyer and
Assistant Planner Marino present.
83. Review of Minutes The Board reviewed the minutes for the meeting of
March 4, 1991. On the motion of Mr Domnitz, seconded by Mr Williams, it was
voted 4-0-1 (Mrs Davison abstained as she was not a member of the Board at
that meeting) to approve the minutes, as written.
The Board reviewed and edited the minutes for the meeting of March 11, 1991
On the motion of Mrs. Davison, seconded by Mr. Williams, it was voted 4-0-1
(Mrs. Wood abstained since she did not attend the meeting) to approve the
minutes, as amended.
******************** PLANNING DIRECTOR'S REPORT ************************
84. Planning Director
a. Taylor Lane The Board reviewed, prior to staff review, a
preliminary plan showing a four lot subdivision off Revere Street
b. Munroe Vilage The Board looked at briefly, prior to staff
review, the resubmission of a preliminary plan (revised March 22, 1991)
showing a seven lot subdivision off Woburn Street
c. MAPC Mr. Bowyer reported that Myla Kabat-Zinn has resigned as
the Town's representative to MAPC, and Joseph Marino has been asked by
the Town Manager to replace her as the Town's representative to the
Council.
d. Projected Meeting Schedule The Board agreed to meet at 6 30 p m.
on Monday, April 29, 1991 to hold informational meetings on the Taylor
Lane, Munroe Village and Wright Street plans The Board agreed not to
meet this coming Wednesday, and to next meet at 7 00 p.m. on April 22, •

85 Munroe Village. Cataldo. Letter to the Selectmen The Board reviewed
and edited a draft letter, dated March 27, 1991 re Woburn Street traffic
safety concerns. The Board agreed to send the letter, as amended.

86 ARTICLE 31 PARKING FACTORS Steven Hurley Amendment to Part C The
Board discussed Mr Hurley's proposed amendment to re-commit Part C to the
Planning Board for re-evaluation, to be resubmitted at a future annual Town
Meeting On the motion of Mrs Davison, seconded by Mr. Domnitz, it was

voted 3-2-0 (Mr Williams and Mr. Grant voted in the negative) to oppose the
amendment on Article 31 offered by Steven Hurley recommitting Part C of
Article 31
87. Zoning Amendments. Set Date for Reconsideration Mr. Bowyer reported
that because the zoning amendments are coming before Town Meeting early in the
sessions, it would be advisable to schedule reconsideration dates early, for i
the amendments on which reconsideration has been moved, in order to settle
zoning issues as soon as possible so that the Zoning By-Law can be revised and
printed.
The meeting was adjourned at 7 55 p.m.
