Meeting will take place at Bowman School in the Rm#22
Present:Jenny Corduck,Kara Kunkler-Peck,Melinda Loof,Kate Babineau,Chris Robinson,&
Brandy Hartford.
Meeting called to order at 7:45 by Jenny Corduck.
●Welcome!
●School Updates
○Teachers discussed the recent experience of professional learning at “Lexington
Learns Together”
○A teacher asked if there was any information regarding a change in start times?
A survey had been sent out to employees to get feedback,however,nothing has
been communicated at the district level.
●Parent Updates
○PTO volunteer shortage and what to do about it.Possible ideas,“Meet the
Officers”or shadow individual currently in position
●Bowman Innovation Plan follow up to questions &responses
○The following Bowman Mentor Program Data was discussed as a follow up to the
Bowman Innovation Plan Update:
■14 total students (+7 nominees that may or may not have started
yet/gotten parent permission)comprised of:
■7 ELs
■2 students w/IEPs
■spread evenly across grades 2-5
■11 mentors currently matched +6 in match process +1 awaiting match

○Bowman School is a welcoming community that values diversity,embraces rigor
and fosters a growth mindset.We nurture curiosity and cultivate a love of
learning to empower students to make the world a better place.
○Staff suggested teaching students about the vision statement using the 7 Habits
Happy Kids.We also considered the notion of creating visuals to represent the
big ideas behind the vision statement as well.
