TRUSTEES OF PUBLIC TRUSTS
Minutes of Meeting of June 4, 1996
A meeting of the Trustees was held at 8:00 P.M. at the home of David Williams,
1433 Massachusetts Avenue. Present were Trustees Alan S. Fields, David G. Williams
and Thomas G. Taylor, and Secretary Sheryl Mason.
The minutes of the February 5, 1996 meeting were reviewed and approved.
It was voted to approve the sales and purchases of securities on March 18, 1996
described in a letter dated March 22, 1996 from Shawmut Bank.
The trustees voted to make available for scholarships the following amounts from
the following funds:
Schumacher $1400
Powers 250
Harrington 2500
Sherburne 500
Weld 500
Baker 400
Lexington Outlook Club 500
Warnecke 7500
It was voted to give $500 from the Gilmore Fund to the Lincoln Park Committee
for the Fitness Path.
It was voted to accept the Carolyn McCabe Memorial Scolarship Fund, which has
a balance of about $13,500. It was also voted to accept the following funds if they are
turned over to the Trustees: Mary Sorenson Scholarship Fund, PTA Scholarship Fund and
the Class of 1996 Scholarship fund.
Jackie Ward requested $100 from the Jonas Gammell Trust which was approved.
It was voted to pay Sheryl Mason $1250 for services.
Next meeting: Wednesday October 9 at 8:00 P.M. at the home of David
Williams.
