Trustees of Public Trusts
Minutes of Meeting
A meeting of the Trustees was held at 12:00 noon on March 4,
1992 at 265 Franklin Street, Boston, Massachusetts. Present were
Trustees Alan S. Fields, Thomas G. Taylor and David G. Williams,
and Sheryl Mason.
The minutes of the November 1, 1991 meeting were approved.
The following portfolio transactions in the Endowment Fund
since the last meeting were approved:
Purchase -- 200 shares Conagra
Purchase -- 100 shares Pfizer Incorporated
Purchase -- 100 shares Chubb Corp.
Purchase -- 100 shares Caterpillar, Inc.
Purchase -- 100 shares AT &T
Purchase -- 100 shares IT &T
Sold -- 50 shares Coca Cola
Sold -- 100 shares HJ Heinz
The Chairman reported that the Endowment Fund, as of the end
of February, is near 30 percent in equities, 3022rcent being the
maximum approved at the November meeting.
The Trustees reviewed and approved the report of Steven
Baran, Human Services Coordinator for the Human Services Fund.

The Trustees have received additions to the Lexington,/ TR n J.
Education Fund, a new fund established by the Friends of the
Lexington Council on Aging, and a fund established by the
Lexington Conservation Commission called the Lexington Nature
Trust Fund.
The Trustees approved a request of $300 from the Lexington
Field and Garden Club to be taken from the Hayes Fountain Fund.
It was voted to pay the following amounts from the following
funds for scholarships to be presented at the high school awards
night:
2 -$150 scholarships from the Hallie C. Blake Fund
$100 from the Charles E; French Fund
3-$500 scholarships from the Harrington Memorial Fund
$750 from the Richard Isenberg Fund
4 -$350 scholarships from the F. Foster and Tenney
Sherburne Fund
The Chairman will talk to Richard Isenberg about possible use
of the principal in his fund. pM1� JQ
The trustees discussedAa proposal by Trustee David Williams
concerning ways that the Trustees might encourage the raising of
money by other groups in the Town.
The next meeting will be May 20, 1992 at 265 Franklin Street,
Boston.
