Joey Glushko from Arlington asked for the Tri-Town meeting
agenda items. Peggy said an obvious discussion item would be the Minuteman Bikeway

25 anniversary celebration. Jennifer is interested in helping to be involved in planning.
Liaison Reports:
Sandra Shaw reported that the Bike Smart Safety Day (part of Bike
thth
Walk ‘n Bus Week) went very well. About 25 4 and 5 graders participated; the leaders
were Bruce Kulik and Pat Bibbins, who were paid by the Friends, and Bike Committee
volunteers and Brian Savage from the Police Department were on hand to help. Peggy
said she is very grateful to the Recreation Department – Peter Coleman, in particular – for
all their help with the registration and venue. She said she hopes this becomes a Town

The meeting was adjourned at 7:40 pm.
Record of the Discussions of the Friends of Lexington Bikeways

donations are being made through the Friends’ PayPal account.
Bikeway Clean-up Day

cleanup went well.

Bikeway Counts th
: Saturday, May 7 was cold and rainy. Peggy suspended the counts in
