Meeting Minutes
May 5, 2016
Attendees: David Williams, Chairman, Joanne Shorter, Cynthia Kuechle, Robert Pressman, Lynne Wilson,
Doug Lucente, Brian Kelley.
Chairman opened the meeting at 7:35PM
Meeting Minutes - the committee reviewed the Minutes from March 29, 2016 and approved as
amended below:
CORRECTION OF MINUTES FROM 3/29/2016: Granite Forrest - A majority of members of the capital
expenditures were opposed to funding the project.
Granite Forrest Update - Town Meeting approved the expenditure of $30,000 for seed money for the
construction of the Granite Forrest.
The committee reviewed a proposal from Melissa Cull to assist with the grant writing for additional
funds required to construct the Granite Forrest. The committee unanimously approved the use of
Melissa Cull's services.
The committee discussed at length other avenues of fundraising. Ideas included a mailing, an event
(such as Art in the Park), and a raffle.
The next committee meeting is tentatively scheduled for May 24th at 8:45am.
The committee unanimously approved an estimate from an individual vendor who will fix boards on the
boardwalk that are broken and in need of repair.
The meeting adjourned at 8:50 pm.
