Virtual Meeting MINUTES
April -12, 2023
Members Present(12): Glen BASSETT(Co-Chair), Linda Dixon, Cerise Jalelian, Gresh Lattimore,
Sondra Lucente, Lorain Marquis, Sandy Podgorski, Ashley Rooney, Geetha Sampeth(Co-Chair),
Sue Stering. Absent: Steve Cole, Mary Hutton. Quorum:6.
Subcommittee Members(15): Sudha Balasuryan, Kevin Collins, Dabby Harter, Yifang Gong,
David Grabel, Kristen Pulkkinen, Hong Xie. Absent.- Julie Miller. 7 Vacancies.
7:09 PM: Meeting called to order by Co-Chair Geetha.
7:12 PM: Minutes dated February 3, March 3, and,March 22 all approved.
Patrio& Day/April 17 Planning/Glen:
- Glen is assembling a comprehensive Task List.
- David is assembling a comprehensive Parade Units List.
- Various issues of minor importance covered.
Tower Park Reenactment/April IS:
- TCC members asked to attend.
- 2:30 PM- William Diamond Junior Fife &Drum
- 4:00 PM: Lexington Minutemen.
Sunday,April 16: No events require TCC attendance.
Memorial Day Parade&Ceremony/May 29:Glen:
- Usual Parade &Ceremony will be held, even the ceremony at Westview Cemetery.
- Will Ceremony be held on the Green? Linda to confirm.
- Sandy will insure American flags are flown, including the 8 WW1 Veterans- She is also to draft
the full Ceremony schedule and pass it onto Glen.
NEXT MEETING: APRIL 26, 2023: Items to discuss include:
- Lessons Learned from Patriots' Day Parades &Ceremonies.
- Memorial Day issues
- Dance Around the World:Ashley&Sudha.
