Patriots Day, Monday, April 18, 2016 LindaDixonreportedthattheReverendSeanCooperoftheChristRevolutionChurchwillbe theclergyparticipatinginthemorningactivities. ParadeAmbassadors:LindaDixon,GeethaPadaki,andMelanieLinhaveformedasub committeeandstartedrecruitingparadeambassadors.MelaniementionedthatRancatores havedonated$5couponsfortheambassadors.KimCoburnsuggestedthatthesubcommittee contactDaveTablingtogetpicturesforrecruitingpurposes. PaulJenkinsreportedthatthebarnwheretheTCChasstoredparadeequipmentinthepastis beingsold.Therefore,theTCCwillhavetomakeotherarrangementsforstorageafterthe2016 parade. PaulalsonotedthatheisstillnegotiatingwithNEMAforradiostobeusedfortheparade. Theremaybefewerradiosavailablethisyearthanlastyear. BobTraceyofferedtocontacttheBostonGaelicBandaboutmarchingintheparade,ifthe committeedecidestoaskthemtoparticipate. SandyPodgorskireportedthatthe/§º¸¯µº¹ȟDayCalendarisreadyforprinting.Shegavethe committeetheWalesCopyquotedpriceforprinting5000copies.Itwassuggestedthatshe contacttheTownprintingofficeforanotherquote.Thecommitteeagreedthatsheshouldgo aheadandget5000copiesprintedfromtheprinterwiththebestprice. KimCoburnreportedthattheBestBuddiesorganizationattheHighSchoolaskedwhether theycanhandoutflyersandbraceletswhiletheyaremarchingintheparade.Thecommittee askedthatBestBuddiesgivesamplestothecommitteetoreviewbeforetheyaregiven approvaltohandanythingout.Itwasnotedthatitisnotpermittedforgroupstothrowitems tothecrowdfromfloats. SuzanneCatonreportedthatthesponsorrequestletters,sponsorshipforms,andlistof marchingunitsneedingsponsorshipweresentouttheweekofFebruary22.Shealsonotified sponsorsfromlastyearwhohaveacreditforthisyearthattheywillbeassignedassponsors forthesamemarchingunitsthisyearunlesstheyrequestachange.Itwasmentionedthatthe TCCcanacceptsponsorshipdonationsfromanyorganizationeventhoughtheywerenotsent arequestletter. LindaDixonmentionedthatshebelievesthereshouldbedistinctionsbetweensponsorsbased ontheamountofmoneysponsorsgive.TheTCCsuggestedthatasubcommitteeshouldbe setuptodiscusspossiblewaystodothisinfutureyears. DianaBishopreportedthatsheisworkingontheVIPletters.Therearestillseveralissuestobe resolvedbeforeshecansentouttheletters.ThecommitteeagreedthatDianashouldwaituntil LorainMarquisreturnsandworkwithLoraintoresolvetheissuesandsendtheletterssince thereisplentyoftime. KimCoburnandRichMcDonoughreportedonthe3""Μ∫budgetnumbersfor2016.The marchingunitsalreadyapprovedforthe2016paradebringusclosetoourbudgetlimitfor funding.Aspartofthediscussionaboutthebudget,thecommitteeagreedthatitshould considerappointingacommitteememberasTreasurersotheresponsibilityforkeepingtrack ofexpendituresisclearlydefined.Richnotedthatforlast¿¨®?Μ∫parade,sponsorshaddonated about$8,400by4/8/2015.
