Lexington Housing Partnership Board (HPB) Meeting Minutes for July 12, 2023
Attendees: Jeri Foutter (Chair), Charles Hornig (Planning Board), Paul Linton, Wendy Manz, Bob
Pressman, Melanie Thompson, Betsey Weiss, John Zhao (COA), Harriet Cohen (Clerk)
Absent: Cindy Arens (Sustainable Lexington liaison), Sarah Morrison (LexHAB liaison)
Guests: None
The Housing Partnership Board (HPB) meeting was chaired by Jeri Foutter and minutes were taken by
Paul Linton. The meeting was held remotely via Zoom teleconference.
1. Call to Order: Housing Partnership Board Meeting
Ms. Foutter called the meeting to order at 7:03. The roll was called.
2. Consider re-appointing Bob Pressman as HPB representative to the CPC
As of July 1, Bob Pressman’s appointment as HPB representative to the Community Preservation
Committee (CPC) has expired. The special HPB meeting was called to consider re-appointing Mr.
Pressman for a new term. Ms. Weiss and Ms. Manz provided statements affirming the
wonderful job Mr. Pressman has done as a CPC member. A short discussion was held on what
activities the CPC does.
Ms. Weiss moved to re-appoint Mr. Pressman as a CPC member; Ms. Manz seconded the
motion.
In favor: Ms. Foutter, Mr. Hornig, Mr. Linton, Ms. Manz, Mr. Pressman, Ms. Thompson, Ms.
Weiss, Mr. Zhao, Ms. Cohen.
Against: none
Abstaining: none
3. New Business
There was no new business.
4. Board Member and Liaison Updates
There were no updates at this meeting.
5. Adjournment
Ms. Weiss moved adjournment; Ms. Cohen seconded the motion.
In favor: Ms. Foutter, Mr. Hornig, Mr. Linton, Ms. Manz, Mr. Pressman, Ms. Thompson, Ms.
Weiss, Mr. Zhao, Ms. Cohen.
