Bronte Abraham, Robin Abrams, Barbara White, Ann Wolf, Jennifer Yaar Location Lexington High School, Room 147 Call to order• 6 34 pm Adjourned 7 26 pm Approvals • Minutes from 2/1/16 Business Meeting were unanimously approved Reports of Officers Treasurer Report • As of 2/29/16, balance was$2,949 10 • PTA dues have been paid Membership Chair Report • 7 new members in January • 1 new member in February Meetings—Review/Upcoming • April 7—Val Viscosi with emphasis on 504s and counseling services. • May 5—Neuropsych testing with Janine Stasior • June—elections—agreed on morning meeting Lexington SEPTA By-Laws Update • Jenn to make final additions to by-laws based on feedback from Barbara Bailey, and then they will be posted for review at www lexsepac.org and voted on by members. Other Business • LHS issues—Ann Wolf and Robin Abrams to discuss at upcoming meeting with Ellen Sugita. • Team involved in active recruiting efforts for 2016-2017 school year • Jennifer Yaar to follow up with Coleen McAdams on hosting a March coffee and an evening gathering at Vine Brook Tavern • Bronte Abraham provided an update on inclusion panel idea (with focus on extracurricular activities) in future meeting. Idea would be to have a panel of building administrators and teachers who have successful inclusion experiences at the middle and high school level Team discussed targeting an early fall 2016 timeframe for this presentation
