Sharon MacKenzie R.N., served as meeting acting Chair Person. \[ĻǣźƓŭƷƚƓ.ƚğƩķƚŅIĻğƌƷŷaźƓǒƷĻƭͲWğƓǒğƩǤЋЉͲЋЉЊЎtğŭĻЊƚŅЌ The Minutes of December 16, 2015 were approved with corrections. The Community Health report was reviewed and the following topics were discussed; Community Health and Infectious Disease Report: Director Cody informed the Board on the upcoming meeting for the Community Coalition Steering Committee and Public Health’s part in this coalition. The Director informed the Board of an upcoming smoking cessation program to take place at Katahdin Woods in January. Flu Clinic planning update: Director Cody informed the Board of the total amount of Flu vaccinations given by age at the Lexington Public Clinics this year, which at current is over 2,100 residents. The Environmental Health report was reviewed and the following topics were discussed; Environmental Health Report was reviewed for various inspections conducted by the Health Agent. Bollywood; Over the past 4 years the establishment has had numerous violations. Recently the establishment has hired the services of Lisa Berger, food consultant. The Director reviewed the contract letter from Berger Food Safety Consulting. Shire; The Director was informed that the topic of an external grease trap for Shire’s corporate kitchen was discussed at a recent DRT meeting. After consultation with Public Works Dept., it was determined that since there will not be heavy grease, Shire will not require an external grease trap. State Sanitary Code Case Reviews: The Board reviewed the State Sanitary Code Case for 27 Vaille Avenue and 19 Homestead Street. 27 Vaille Avenue; previously, Lead was detected, along with several other State Sanitary Code violations. The case is currently an ongoing criminal complaint case. The tenants were present and spoke to the Board about this case. The Board recommended that they seek legal counsel at this time. 19 Homestead Street; Lexington Police Department report deplorable conditions to BOH. Health Inspector inspected and issued Order to Correct. Re-inspection by Director, home met minimum standard for human habitation. \[ĻǣźƓŭƷƚƓ.ƚğƩķƚŅIĻğƌƷŷaźƓǒƷĻƭͲWğƓǒğƩǤЋЉͲЋЉЊЎtğŭĻЋƚŅЌ The Emergency Preparedness report was reviewed and the following topics were discussed. The Board was updated on an increase in the amount of statewide MRC units. In an effort to facilitate the merger of Region 4A and Region 4B into one Health and Medical Coordinating Coalition, (HMCC), Lexington 4A MRC members and 4B MRC members will be part of a series of sessions in an effort to engage the five core disciplines. Sharon MacKenzie R.N., motioned that the meeting be adjourned and John J. Flynn, J.D., seconded. All were in favor. The meeting adjourned at 8:31 PM.
