LEXINGTON DESIGN ADVISORY COMMITTEE
Minutes of Meeting of December 22015

A meeting of the Design Advisory Committee was held on December 2, 2015 at 7:30 pm in the Reed room
of the Town Office building. A quorum of seven was present.

Approvals
: Minutes of the previous meeting were reviewed and approved.
The meeting reviewed and acted on the following item:
1. New sign application – Salons by JC located at 675 Lowell Street
The DAC reviewed the proposed new signs at our meeting on August 5, 2015 and had the following
comments and recommendations.
The applicant presented the proposed sign for Salons by JC to be located both on the building and inside
the new business.
One channel sign will be located above the entry on the facade of the building and one blade sign will be
located above the entry door inside the business. The signs will be constructed and mounted as shown in
the drawings presented at the meeting. The size, design, font and colors will be as shown on the presented
drawings. The exterior channel sign will be illuminated with LED illumination and will not exceed 150 foot
candles as shown in the drawings.
After reviewing the application the Design Advisory Committee determined that the project scope as
presented and shown in the drawings is acceptable and recommends approval. If any changes are made to
the project scope or design as presented at any time prior to final installation the DAC asks that the
applicant notify the DAC for review and approval prior to implementation.

dates of 3-19-15 on sheets 1 & 3 and 10-27-15 on sheet 2
