LEXINGTON DESIGN ADVISORY COMMITTEE
Minutes of Meeting of
May 6, 2015
A meeting of the Design Advisory Committee was held on May 6, 2015 at 7:30 pm in the Reed room of the
Town Office building. A quorum of six was present.

Minutes of the previous meeting were approved with minor corrections
The meeting reviewed and acted on the following item:
1.177 Bedford Street – Wireless facility application
Applicant presented their proposal to add antennas to an existing tower/pole at the above address.
a. Proposed facility will comply with noise ordinance.
b. No additional lighting will be added.
c. No maintenance will be conducted after hours unless it is an emergency.
d. Proposed antennas will be the same colors as others.
Committee recommended approval of this application.
1.Cary Hall – Exterior site signage improvements review
Applicant presented the current design alternatives for added signage
a. Generally committee liked the idea of signage to identify the buildings at the street and an
informational board along sidewalk opposite Cary Hall. Something lighter in style was
preferred.
b. Some members did not object to signage on the building itself
c. It was suggested to copy the blade sign at Depot Square Park for the informational sign
d. Some members felt that no signage for building identification was necessary near the
buildings, looked too cluttered.
e. Applicant will be seeking feedback and approval from HDC
