LEXINGTON DESIGN ADVISORY COMMITTEE
Minutes of Meeting of September 10, 2014
A meeting of the Design Advisory Committee was held on September 10, 2014 at 7:30 pm in the Reed
room of the Town Office building. A quorum of six was present.

Minutes of the previous meeting were approved with minor corrections
The meeting reviewed and acted on the following item:
1.401 Lowell Street, Lexington, MA – New sign application
The committee agreed that the sign as designed is an appropriate scale for the proposed location on this
building. Any smaller and the sign would not be legible from Lowell Street for visitors to the business. The
committee agreed that the sign should not be internally or externally lit in anyway now or in the future.
The following documents/exhibits were presented and reviewed at the meeting:
1. Zoning Board of Appeals Application package
2.Sign design plan for Amadeus Music School by Callahan Signs, Revision date 8.6.14
The Design Advisory Committee enthusiastically recommended approval of this application. If further
changes are made to the plans or final installation of the project the DAC asked that the applicants notify
the DAC for review and approval prior to implementation.
