Adoption would require a vote of the town at an election. The present administration is thinking about expanding circuit breaker eligibility. John felt 41 C1/2 would not be good for Lexington as presently written and we should wait to see what the state does about the circuit breaker. The committee is to make a recommendation to the Selectmen on Ben Cohen's article on March 19. After a discussion it was voted to support the article with the following conditions: 1. That the minimum age remain,atbe 65. 2. That the income test be tied to the CPA income test. 3. That the Selectmen consider some sort of phase-in if the Finance Director determines that it might have an adverse impact on town finances in the early years. There was a discussion of how to obtain the names of fuel assistance patrons so they can be notified of the availability of the water.alld,,sewel discount.
