Hi John,
We had one addiƟonal change to the current year budget adjustments today – we are adding $25,085 to the Property &
Liability Insurance line. We had budgeted an increase of $50K over the prior year which was about a 6% increase. The
actual premiums for FY2023 are approx. 10% so we are adjusƟng to cover.
We also had a discussion with Fire Department and have decided not to make a budget adjustment for them at this
Ɵme. They are currently trending over on OT, but we are going to manage it closely and if needed we will do an end of
year transfer to cover it.
This is the updated ArƟcle 21 moƟon:
MOTION:
That the following adjustments be made to the following line items for the FY2023 budget as approved under ArƟcle 4 of
the 2022 Annual Town MeeƟng:

4100 Law Enforcement Personal Services $7,169,307 $7,299,307
and further, that to meet this appropriaƟon $155,085 be appropriated from the General Fund unreserved fund balance.
