Membership: 5 members (3 elected, 1 State government appointee & 1 tenant board member
appointed by the Select Board).
Length of term: 5 years (for both elected and appointed)
New tenant board member requirement began in 2021
Lexington’s first tenant board member appointee began first term in April 2022.
Should the State appointed member’s term expire, they may continue in that role without a State
reappointment letter on file, until one is issued or another is appointed.
