To either of the Constables of the Town of Lexington, in said County, Greetings:
In the name of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, you are hereby directed to notify the
inhabitants of the Town of Lexington qualified to vote in elections and in Town affairs to meet in
their respective voting places in said Town.
PRECINCT ONE, HARRINGTON SCHOOL; PRECINCT TWO, BOWMAN SCHOOL;
PRECINCT THREE, JONAS CLARKE MIDDLE SCHOOL; PRECINCT FOUR, SENIOR
HIGH SCHOOL; PRECINCT FIVE, CARY MEMORIAL BUILDING; PRECINCT SIX,
WILLIAM DIAMOND MIDDLE SCHOOL; PRECINCT SEVEN, ESTABROOK SCHOOL;
PRECINCT EIGHT, FIRE HEADQUARTERS BUILDING; PRECINCT NINE, MARIA
HASTINGS SCHOOL,
On MONDAY, THE SECOND DAY OF JUNE, A.D., 1997 at 7:00 a.m. then and there to vote
Yes or No on the following question submitted to the voters at large, pursuant to a petition for a
referendum filed with the Selectmen:
Shall the Town vote to approve the action of the representative town meeting whereby it was
voted that the sum of$2,400,000 be appropriated and borrowed for architectural and engineering
services for design and development of plans and specifications for remodeling, reconstructing
and making extraordinary repairs to school buildings and for additions thereto?
Yes
No
The polls will be open at 7:00 A.M. and will remain open until 8:00 P.M.
And you are directed to serve this warrant fourteen days at least before the time of said meeting
as provided in the By-Laws of the Town.
Hereof fail not and make due return on this warrant, with your doings thereon, to the Town
Clerk, on or before the time of said meeting.
