In the name of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, you are directed to
notify the inhabitants of the Town of Lexington, qualified to vote in elections
and in Town affairs, to meet in their respective voting places in said Town,
PRECINCT ONE, HARKING ON SCHOOL; PRECINCT TWO, BOWAAN SCHOOL; PRECINCT
THREE, JONAS CLARKE MIDDLE SCHOOL; PRECINCT FOUR, SENIOR HIGH SCHOOT; PRECINCT
FIVE, CARY MEMORIAL BUILDING; PRECINCT SIX, WILLIAM DIAMOND MIDDLE SCHOOL;
PRECINCT SEVEN, ESTABROOK SCHOOL; PRECINCT EIGHT, FIRE HEADQUARTERS BUILDING;
PRECINCT NINE, MARIA HASTINGS SCHOOL.
WEDNESDAY, THE SEVENTEENTH DAY OF AUGUST, A.D. , 1988
from 7:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. , then and there to vote Yes or No on the following
question submitted to the voters at large:
Shall the Town of Lexington be allowed to exempt from the provisions of
proposition two and one-half, so called, the amounts required to pay for the
bonds to be issued in order to purchase (i) the land shown as Lot 63 on
Assessors' Property Map 66 and (ii) the land shown as Lot 64 on Assessors'
Property Map 66, which bonds were authorized by a vote passed at the July 13,
1988 Special Town Meeting?
YES
NO
The polls will be open at 7:00 a.m. and will remain open
until 8:00 p.m.
And you are directed to serve this warrant seven days at least before the
time of said meeting as provided in the By-Laws of the Town.
Hereof fail not, and make due return on this warrant, with your doings
thereon, to the Town Clerk, on or before the tine of said mooting.
Given under our hands at Lexington, this fourteenth day of July, 1988.

TO THE TOWN CLERK:
I have served the foregoing warrant by posting a printed copy
thereof in the Town Office Building and in a public place in each
of the precincts of the Town and also by sending by mail , postage
prepaid, a printed copy of such warrant addressed to each dwelling
house and to each dwelling unit in multiple dwelling houses, apart-
ment buildings, or other buildings in the Town, /5- days before
the time of said election.

I, this day notified the voters of Lexington of the caning Election to be
held on the seventeenth day of August. I notified 10,248 inhabitants of
the Town of Lexington qualified to vote in elections by mailing them a true
attested copy of the Warrant on August 2,1988., 15 days before the time of
said election.
I have also posted a true and attested copy of this Warrant for the
Election in the following public places, plus one at the Town Office
Building:

2. Precinct #2 Fast Lexington Fire Station
3. Precinct #3 Jonas Clarke Middle School
4. Precinct #4 Senior High School
5. Precinct #5 Cary Menorial Building
