Staff Present: Siqing Pan, Department Assistant Chair Paul O’Shaughnessy called the October 6th, 2022 Historic Districts Commission meeting to order at 5:04pm. FORMAL HEARING Chair Paul O’Shaughnessy opened the formal hearing for 1625 Massachusetts Avenue, exterior changes (AT&T Wireless Communications facility) in the Battle Green Historic District Documents Full plan set of proposed alteration: dated September 29, 2022 Photographs of entire face of each building elevation visible from the public way: dated September 29, 2022 List of Material: dated August 31, 2022 Work Scope Narrative: dated August 31, 2022 MA1513 ATT Lexington Mass Ave Viewshed 2 Views: dated September 6 & September 29, 2022 The applicants explained the proposed changes of AT&T pole to 1625 Massachusetts Avenue. Robert Adams has been served as liaison for this application. The Board commented on height, the proposed location, lights on the top, fencing at the bottom, and coloring treatments as guidance for this application. Board member requested samples of photographs of two steel materials and more information of maximum effective distance. The Board agreed to continue this application to next meeting in November. No public comments. CONTINUED HEARINGS Chair Paul O’Shaughnessy opened the continued hearing for 1575 Massachusetts Avenue, exterior changes (Solar Carports) in the Battle Green Historic District Documents Updated proposed plans: dated September 27, 2022 Rendering: dated October 4, 2022 2 / 2 The applicants explained the updated proposed changes of solar carports to 1575 Massachusetts Avenue. Robert Adams has been served as liaison for this application. The Board agreed to continue this application to next meeting in November. No public comments. ACTION ITEMS Consideration and vote on Meeting Minutes on September 1st, 2022: The Board made a motion to approve the minutes on September 1st, 2022 as written. Motion carried. All in favor.
