The Committee reviewed and acted on the following item(s):
1. 363 Massachusetts Avenue – sign application
The Committee reviewed the proposed sign and had the following comments and suggestions:
Generally, the Committee felt the sign was fine as is but did have a few suggestions on how it might be
improved.
a. Increase font sizes
b. Switch logo location on sign
c. Consider changing location of sign
2. 50 Hill Street – Lexington Golf Club Clubhouse
The Committee reviewed the proposed sign and had the following comments and suggestions:
The overall design is a big improvement, the focus was on improving the Hill Street façade as it feels
neglected compared to the rest of the building.
a. Hill Street façade –
1. Improve appearance, it looks too much like the back of the building, make it more welcoming to
the neighborhood and passerby.
2. Enclose the mechanical corral with a solid wall
3. Add sun screen element to the two corner windows, use embellishments used on other facades
4. Improve volume and three dimensionality
b. Remove mechanical stair
c. A landscape plan is being developed
Other Business: None
Meeting was adjourned
