2. 4 McGuire – sign application
The Committee reviewed the proposed signs and had the following comments and recommendations.
Generally, the overall sign package for the property should be more cohesive in its design and color scheme to improve clarity for
the user.
Wall Signs
a. The Committee did not approve of the size and location of either proposed wall sign.
b. The Committee did not see the need for the ‘4 McGuire’ on the building.
Wayfinding and Parking Signs
a. The Committees commented that the address on the signs is hard to read because of the two colors proposed and may not be
necessary on those signs.
b. Committee noted that the signs should follow basic ADA and access board guidelines for these signs especially handicap
parking. It was noted that the arrows are too thin and again may be hard to read because of the color choice
c. The Committee commented that sign A could be simplified for better clarity and possibly another color combination would
work better.
Monument Sign - The Committee approved the monument sign with the following comments
a. The Committee commented that the applicant may want to change the color pallet of the vertical address as it could be hard to
read against the wood panels.
Other Business: None
