Minutes of Meeting of November 17, 2021
A meeting of the Design Advisory Committee (DAC) was held remotely via ZOOM on November 17, 2021 at 6:00
pm.
Members/Liaisons Present: Tim Lee, Caroline Fitzgerald, Steve Vincent, Ian Adamson, Chris Johns
Members/Liaisons Absent:
Approvals: Meeting minutes from 01.13.20 meeting
The Committee reviewed and acted on the following item(s):
1. 1060 Waltham Street - ZBA sign application for Chase Bank
The Committee recommends approval of the design proposals for both signs and has no comments or
recommendations.
a. The Committee recommends the sign use halo illumination of the letters and company logo instead of the
cut through internal illumination proposed.
b. The signs on the building should be lit with halo illumination to match the monument sign.

2. 145 Massachusetts Avenue – ZBA sign application for Battle Road Bikes
The Committee recommends approval of the design proposals for both signs and has no comments or
recommendations.

2. Enlarged images of mural sign with dimensions
3. Detailed drawing of canopy wall sign with dimensions, lighting and materials information
4. Before and after photos of canopy wall sign
5. Six letters of support
